The Beats, Rhymes, and Life film crew would like to thank everyone who showed up for our March 12th fundraiser at The New Parish. So much hard work went into making that night a success. Due to everyone's support we were able to reach our $10,000 matching grant! This money is providing the film with much needed finishing funds.

Last week Beats Rhymes and Life contracted to run a rap therapy youth development program in the heart of the South Bronx. This expansion site was strategically identified and chosen based on the historical and cultural emphasis of hip hop in this part of the country.

On April 26th, youth from Beats, Rhymes & Life and Oakland High's 5th Element Hip Hop Club visited Cleveland Elementary School to teach 5th graders about the history of Hip Hop and how they could use Hip Hop to express themselves in a positive way.
