Aloha!! My name is Paloma Belara, born in SF, raised in the Bay, and amongst many things, I'm the program coordinator for BRL's sister program, "F.R.E.S.H the Magazine" (http://www.freshthemagazine.com), An online mag for students at Oakland High to express themselves, and learn professional business skills.

Having limited experience working in a high school setting has actually been an easy transition from my usual grind in the entertainment and fashion industry (see >> http://www.papalodown.com), it feels natural to work with the students, and I know I am truly blessed to have this opportunity. Through this blog, I hope I can influence and inspire others in the industry to share their knowledge and experience to the next generation. They need you now more than ever...
